Mauricio de Sousa's characters for kids, Monica and Ronaldinho Gaucho, were the Brazilian attraction at the 7th Hong Kong International Licensing Show, July 2-4, 2008.

MSP's agent, Ms. Alice Tang, was thrilled, presenting Monica and Ronaldinho Gaucho at the stand of AT LICENSING, particularly as "Hong Kong is the ideal gateway for licensing companies, looking to enter the Chinese mainland market. "

Hong Kong exhibitions and consumer product shows are an excellent platform for reaching potential licensees. Hong Kong has deep business connections with the mainland and is renowned for its business integrity, independent judiciary and intellectual property rights protection.

A record-breaking of over 13,000 visitors attended the show, that featured more than 300 brands and properties promoted by over 130 exhibitors from around the world.

Monica and Ronaldinho shared the spot with fellow characters Astro Boy, Harry Potter, Looney Tunes, Transformers, Superman, Naruto, Doraemon and all the Marvel heroes.
