Cartoonist Mauricio de Sousa illustrated 60 panels that portrayed man's wish to fly. "Santos-Dumont and Monica's Gang in a Dream that Became History" is the theme of an exhibition celebrating the centennial of his 14-Bis flight. The show opened to the public October 24, 2006 at FIESP headquarters, São Paulo, Brazil.

Sixty panels were illustrated by Mauricio de Sousa and are part of the Monica's Gang exhibition that portrays man's ceaseless desire to fly.

Santos-Dumont's history is depicted from his early experiments, the period when he conquered the controlled dirigibles with balloons, to the historic flight of 14-Bis, and the construction of Demoiselle - the first airplane built in a series.

Mauricio de Sousa points out that the show was created to awaken the need to rescue cultural and historic values. "I would like it to be an example and a reference for children and adults and for the information on the panels to spread great achievements of Brazilians such as Dumont".
